For those of you who don't know, I will be releasing new resin video every friday! Yei!

This video is the first of the many resin videos which I have planned for the furture.

I will be covering this vial charm in today's tutorial.

Full video with the material list and source here:

  • We will start with mixing the resin in 2 parts and harder in 1 part as I m using 2:1 mixture.
  • You get these measuring cups as well..so I'll mix 5 ml of resin and 2.5 ml of hardner at one time.
  • Mix them thoroughly in a mixing cup but slowly.
  • I have sped up the video so it might appear like I am mixing too fast but I actually mixed it slowly.
  • You will come to know that it's mixed thouroughly once the creamy colour is gone and it looks transperant completely. Usually it should be mixed for 3-5 minutes.
  • Once they are properly mixed, pour it into the glass vial and insert the sea shells inside it.
  • Place them and remove any air bubbles with the toothpick or skewer.
  • Let it set for sometime..approx 4-5 hours.
  • After the first layer has set a bit, don't let it set completely but just enough in order for it to hold the other layer.
  • If it's not set enough, the 2 ND layer will keep through the 1 St layer.
  • How to check it?
  • Poke the 1st layer with the toothpick..if it feels sticky enough with such strings coming out, it's the correct time to pour the 2nd layer.
  • Mix the resin and harderner again in 2:1 ratio.
  • Cut the holographic sheet in small pieces and then mix then in the mixture.
  • Pour it into the vial and let it set completely.
  • Every resin has different pot and curing time.
  • This 2:1 resin has 12 hours as curing time.
  • Please check the instructions on your resin package to check out it's curing time and work accordingly.
  • As I wanted to use them as charms and necklace pieces, I will attach a finding in all the corks.
  • Cut some excess portion and then carefully insert it inside the cork...cut out the excess part.
  • Secure the corks in the vials with a strong adhesive.
  • Then put the laces, necklace cords or charm cords and these magical vials are ready!!
  • Hope you all enjoyed today's video don't forget to like share and subscribe to our channel.
  • Thank you.

Birdhouse Decoupage + Crackle

Namaste crafters! It's summertime..so let's make cute birdhouses for the birds to rest in this summer! This time on my trip to the Itsy Bitsy store, I saw these amazing birdhouses in all sizes and amazing designs..I just couldn't control myself and ended up buying tons of these..they are just too adorable and pretty!! Let's have a step by step look at how I created them! Its complete video will also be uploaded soon next week..just some editing left :)  For all the birdhouses, I have primed them with 2 layers of gesso. Paint the base with white chalk/acrylic paint. Let it dry. Put a layer of 1 step crackle medium from Itsy Bitsy.  Apply thick layer for thicker cracks and thin layer for thinner cracks. Let it dry naturally. You can dry it with a heat tool as well but natural drying gives your project better cracks. I have used crackle mediums of many companies but I personally feel that the 1 step crac

Cut the sheet along the edges and you will get your own "Cloud stencil."  Now use Sapphire blue ink along the "clouds stencil" and cover the whole background with it. Use Lemon yellow ink through the Rays stencil by Kaisercraft. (If you do not have a Ray's stencil then just place the masking tape on the cardstock with a one finger gap between each ray and thus you can create the stencil also)
