Gift tag with embossing powder and versamark ink

Hello crafty people! :D Today I will showcase how to create magical gift tags using embossing powders. Cover it with anti static powder. Stamp the "Follow your dreams" stamp with Versmark ink. Put "Buttercup embossing powder" by Ranger over the stamped image. Colour it with Hot pink Tubby craft ink pad. The embossed powder will resist the ink and keep it's colour thus giving it a 3D effect. To give a vintage look, put Chocolate Brown ink on the sides with the finger daubers/blending foam. I repeated the same step for the other 3 tags. 2nd tag:  Embossing  powder: Clear. Background and stamped image with distress inks

Hello crafty people! :D Devika here and today I will share  how to use the different coloured ink pads to create wonderful backgrounds and stamped images! I wanted to give it a "sea theme" hence opted for 2 shades of blue distress inks: Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China. Blend them together by giving a darker shade at the bottom and lighter shade at the top.                                                    Sprint some small water droplets on the card and immediately lift it with a cloth/paper towel, to give it the bleached effect. Stamp the sea shells with Tubby Craft Ink- Sapphire Blue at the base.  For the base card, cover it with Cracked

DIY Stencil

Hello crafty friends! Devika here and today I will share how to create your own stencil and make a card using it! RULES MENTIONED AT THE END OF THE POST Dreamy Sky  Take a white cardstock. Make a cloud stencil with the masking sheet. Just draw the cloud edges with a pencil on a masking sheet. Cut the sheet along the edges and you will get your own "Cloud stencil."  Now use Sapphire blue ink along the "clouds stencil" and cover the whole background with it. Use Lemon yellow ink through the Rays stencil by Kaisercraft. (If you do not have a Ray's stencil then just place the masking tape on the cardstock with a one finger gap between each ray and thus you can create the stencil also)

Bending the stamps- Treasure

Blend this cardstock with Expresso distress ink. Stamp the TREASURE stamp and fussy cut it. Colour it with Fossiled amber and straw distress ink Bend the sentiment in a semi-circle shape and stamp it  using Ranger Archival Black Ink. YES, you can bend these stamps in anyway you like to suit your need! Stamp the track using the stamp set from Adorable Runner, the bird from Talking Two and the Ship from Lift up Balloon. Layering through stencils: Number fun

Hello everyone! Hope you guys enjoyed our last Vellum Sheet tutorial. Today I am in some stenciling and stamping mood.. so today's card will showcase how  to use inks to create backgrounds, layering through stencils, blending and stamping. Create the pink background using Tubby Craft ink pad: Light Pink by blending the ink with the dauber into the background. Now take the other darker shade of the same family, Tubby craft ink pad: Hot Pink, and work this ink through the stencil onto the light pink coloured cardstock. TADA! the base is ready :D Cut out 2 panels from white card stock and foam mount them onto the base card. Stamp the image from "Looking Three" stamp set along with

Embossing, Stamping on vellum sheets

Hello crafty people! :D Devika here and today I will share the embossing technique on Vellum sheets. (This will prevent the embossing powder from sticking to the unwanted areas) Dab the floral stamp from the "Floral Peonies" stamp set with the Versamark watermark ink pad. Stamp it on the vellum sheet. •Heat emboss it with a contrasting coloured embossing powder.  I have used Buttercup embossing powder by Ranger. Repeat the same steps with a deep yellow coloured vellum sheet and Blue embossing powder. Fussy cut all the flowers and adhere them on a white coloured card stock of 300 GSM. The Buddha name plate: 2 Step crackle + Resin technique

THE BUDDHA NAME PLATE: Hello crafty people! :D Devika here and today I will my favourite project till now..the 2step crackle name plate. This post will help you to get lovely cracks on your project. Prime it by applying 2 layers of Gesso. (allowing 15-20 min to dry between the 2 coats) Paint the base with white chalk/acrylic. Let it dry. Remove 2 layers of the napkin and use the top most layer. Tear the relevant Buddha and floral design with water and paint brush. Apply a thin layer of mod podge at the base and put the napkin on top. (If you are a beginner, then please do this step with a small portion at a time) Dab it with a dry sponge  and use the pla
