I am not relaly a floral person BUT THIS "Floral wishes" stamp set by Craftyscrappers has made me fallen in love with florals.. i am not kidding :)

Autumn florals

  • Take a sheet of White cardstock from Craftyscrappers.
  • Stamp the floral images using Black archival ink pad and a stamping platform.

  • Colour the images with any medium you want, I personally love colouring with Distress inks so I coloured the flowers with the inks.
  • Distress inks used in sequence from Big flower, Small Flower, Leaves and Pollen: Spun sugar, Worn lipstick, Candid Apple, Picked Rashberry. Shad d lilac, Wilted Violet .Twisted Citron, Cracked pistachio, Everygreen bough. Squeezed lemonade, Carved pumpkin respectively.
  • I wanted to create shaded flowers, hence used lighter colour tone for the inside petals and darker shade for the outside petals.

  • Fussy cut the images.
  • Take the Cracked Floral stencil from Craftyscrappers and apply a thin layer of Fog Dazzle Paste through it.. if you haven't tried their newly launched dazzle pastes, trust me you are MISSING OUT ON IT!
  • It's texture is sooo smooth and silky that you will feel like eating it :p
  • And it's very easy to apply.

  • Stamp the sentiment from the stamp set on white coloured cardstock using Black archival ink and fussy cut it.

  • Foam mount the images and you a pretty floral card!

Hope it inspires you to create a Floral themed card for the ongoing challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!
Loads of crafty hugs,
Devika.

  • Die cut the Mason jar image or simply draw the Mason jar and fussy cut it.
  • Sprintz the cardstock with a little bit of water and spray the Shimmer Sprays, Tickled Cheeks at the top and Dancing Peacock at the bottom ..I Just love these sprays..the shimmer is just enough to give your project a subtle yet shimmery look.

  • Place the snail stamp from the Craftyscrappers- Snail mail for you stamp set on a piece of acetate sheet with the stamping side up.
  • Cover it with any black coloured Dye ink pad..do not use archival ink, it didn't work for me at all!

  • Stamp the outline, solid butterfly image from the Birthday Flutters Craftyscrappers stamp set using Black Archival ink.
  • Heat emboss it with Clear White embossing powder.
  • Mask the top and bottom portion of the card..I purposely masked off a tiny portion of both butterflies as well.

You Are A Pearl

  • Cut out a small rectangular window on a piece of white cardstock, 270 GSM.
  • I wanted to give it a "sea theme" hence opted for 2 shades of blue distress inks: Mermaid Lagoon and Broken China.
  • Blend them together by giving a darker shade at the bottom and lighter shade at the top.

  • Sprint some small water droplets on the card and immediately lift it with a cloth/paper towel, to give it the bleached effect.
  • Stamp the sea shells with Tubby Craft Ink- Sapphire Blue at the base.

  • For the base card, cover it with Cracked Pistashio Distress ink.
  • Position the Pearl stamp along with the sentiment and stamp it using Tubby Craft Ink- Jet Black.
  • Adding the window just gives your project some more dimension and 3D effect :D

  • Foam mount the pieces...and you have a beautiful sea themed card.
  • This will be a perfect card to gift your mother this Woman Day! :D
