Namaste Crafters!
Check out the video to learn how to make a colourful card using Dye Ink Pads to colour the stamped image and Stenciling with the ink.

  • I am the design team member of Mudra Craft stamps and today I will show you how to create this pretty card using it's stencil, stamp and the newly launched ink pads!
  • Take a piece of heavyweight white cardstock and stamp the image from the Floral live stamp set using Black ink.
  • You can use Mai s jet black ink pad also to stamp which I will show you later.
  • I will need colour the stamp set using their newly launched dye ink pads. Yes! You can use these inks to colour as well..isn't that so cool!
  • Smoosh the Tangerine orange ink pad on the craft sheet and sprintz it with water.
  • Take a water colour brush and lift some ink from the sheet and colour the flowers.
  • You can dilute the colour with more water if you want a lighter tone.
  • Keep colouring like we colour with water colours.
  • Similarly I have used the Lemon yellow and Cornflower blue ink pads to colour the remaining flowers.
  • You can even mix the inks to create your own colour..like I am mixing the blue and lemon yellow inks to create the green colour!! This is super cool!
  • The more you layer the colours, the stronger the colour tone will be.
  • I am using the cocoa brown to colour the buds and the red to colour the LOVE sentiment.
  • As the colours toned down to stamped  imperssion, I Ihighlighted the sentiment using a non bleeding black marker to pop it up a bit.
  • Fussy cut the image.
  • Place to crackle stencil on the base white cardstock and dab the Ruby red colour through the stencil with a finger dauber!
  • The possibilities of these ink pads is just endless which I so awesome!
  • The stencils quality is perfect which makes the chances of the colour bleeding through it very less! This is by far the best stencil I have used.
  • Remove the stencil and foam mount the image.
  • Stamp the sentiment using mai Jet black ink, fussy cut it and then Foam mount it on the base cardstock.
  • I just love the crisp, stamped impressions I got from these ink pads..and loved colouring with them..the colours are vibrant and make colouring a very easy and fun job!

You can also follow me on these social media accounts: https://www.facebook.com/houseofillusiondelhi/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNGR6yuGN1tm2HzpwuYQOIA https://www.instagram.com/thehouseofillusion/ Dreamy gift tags Take white coloured cardstock tags. Cover it with anti static powder. Stamp the "Follow your dreams" stamp with Versmark ink. Put "Buttercup embossing powder" by Ranger over the stamped image. Colour it with Hot pink Tubby craft ink pad. The embossed powder will resist the ink and keep it's colour thus giving it a 3D effect. To give a vintage look, put Chocolate Brown ink on the sides with the finger daubers/blending foam. I repeated the same step for the other 3 tags. 2nd tag:  Embossing  powder: Clear.
