For those of you who don't know, I will be releasing new resin video every friday! Yei!

This video is the first of the many resin videos which I have planned for the furture.

I will be covering this vial charm in today's tutorial.

Full video with the material list and source here:

  • We will start with mixing the resin in 2 parts and harder in 1 part as I m using 2:1 mixture.
  • You get these measuring cups as well..so I'll mix 5 ml of resin and 2.5 ml of hardner at one time.
  • Mix them thoroughly in a mixing cup but slowly.
  • I have sped up the video so it might appear like I am mixing too fast but I actually mixed it slowly.
  • You will come to know that it's mixed thouroughly once the creamy colour is gone and it looks transperant completely. Usually it should be mixed for 3-5 minutes.
  • Once they are properly mixed, pour it into the glass vial and insert the sea shells inside it.
  • Place them and remove any air bubbles with the toothpick or skewer.
  • Let it set for sometime..approx 4-5 hours.
  • After the first layer has set a bit, don't let it set completely but just enough in order for it to hold the other layer.
  • If it's not set enough, the 2 ND layer will keep through the 1 St layer.
  • How to check it?
  • Poke the 1st layer with the toothpick..if it feels sticky enough with such strings coming out, it's the correct time to pour the 2nd layer.
  • Mix the resin and harderner again in 2:1 ratio.
  • Cut the holographic sheet in small pieces and then mix then in the mixture.
  • Pour it into the vial and let it set completely.
  • Every resin has different pot and curing time.
  • This 2:1 resin has 12 hours as curing time.
  • Please check the instructions on your resin package to check out it's curing time and work accordingly.
  • As I wanted to use them as charms and necklace pieces, I will attach a finding in all the corks.
  • Cut some excess portion and then carefully insert it inside the cork...cut out the excess part.
  • Secure the corks in the vials with a strong adhesive.
  • Then put the laces, necklace cords or charm cords and these magical vials are ready!!
  • Hope you all enjoyed today's video don't forget to like share and subscribe to our channel.
  • Thank you.

Christmas tree ornaments

Namaste crafters! It's December..so it's all about Christmas! Today I am on Craftyscrappers blog showing how to create shimmery, christmas-y tree ornaments with the newly launched shimmer pastes. Take the mdf cut outs of the ornaments. For the Xmas tree I applied the Christmas tree shimmer paste with my finger and applied the Granular paste just at the edges to give me snow effect...this granular paste has to perfect snowy consistency and looks very pretty. Similarly I applied Jungle bells shimmer paste on the star ornament, stamped, coloured and fussy cut the reindeer from "let it snow" stamp set and foam mounted it in the middle. For the stocking, I applied Poinsettle shimmer paste and sprinkled Summer mango and It's a boy sequins on it while it was wet and lightly dabbed it so that it gets embedded into the paste. For the reindeer I mixed the Pinewood and jingle bells shimmer paste and applied it on the surface. I stamped ...
