New year for me is all about colours, new goals and new dreams..so today's project is also full of colour, splashes and the dreamy girl on the swing :D

It is a new project made to enter the ongoing challenege at mudra's blog, link to which is:

LET'S DREAM AWAY

  • Take the mdf base.
  • Separate the border part and the base.
  • Mix the modelling/structural paste with bright red colour. As the paste is white, the birght red will turn pinkish.
  • Now mix the pretty micro decor beads by Mudra and apply them on the border base.
  • I just loved how beautifully and easily the beads mixed in the paste and gave it the 3D effect.

  • I also made a bow with the help of orange structural paste and put it on the border base.
  • Now take any stencil and put the paste without the beads through the stencil.
  • I have used stripes stencil by Tim Holtz on the left side and out orange paste through it.
  • For the right side, I used a check stencil and put pink paste through it and let it dry.
  • Next take the pretty Mandala Chipzeb by Mudra and spray it with Shimmer sprays by Craftyscrappers.
  • I used Lushy orchid, spicy walnut, Ocean wave and Bitter lemon on the different four parts..just spray it and see how wonderfully tehy blend into each other.
  • If you don't have sprays, colour it with any colouring medium like paints, water colours etc.
  • Once dry, adhere it on the stenciled base.

  • Take the cute, dreamy stamp set by Mudra, stamp it on a coloured white stock using black ink and fussy cut it.
  • (I had some scrap coloured cardstock, so I stamped the image on it to get a colourful background)
  • Stick them on the base and a wonderful New year themed wall hanging is all ready to adorn your New year party decor :D

Hope you all enjoyed today's project.

To give a vintage look, put Chocolate Brown ink on the sides with the finger daubers/blending foam. I repeated the same step for the other 3 tags. 2nd tag:  Embossing  powder: Clear.
