Christmas Shaker ornament- Gift box

  • I am creating a gift shaker box which you can attach on the Christmas gifts or hang it as a tree ornament on your Xmas tree.
  • I put the Granular paste on the base and let it dry.
  • Then I adhered the stamped and coloured images form the "lei it snow" stamp set on each window.
  • I added sequins in each window..I put Summer mango sequins in the windows with the reindeer and valentine kiss in the window with the gifts.
  • Then I adhered the shaker window with glue and adhred the last gift box element on top of the shaker window. I had put Jingle bells shimmer paste on all the sides on this last window.
  • Lastly, I put the sentiment in the middle.
  • And it's ready...shake it and have fun!

White cardstovk
Sequins (as shown in the picture)
Granular paste
Shimner paste: Jingle bells
Stamp set- Let it snow

Other supplies used:
Mdf shaker base
Black Archival ink
Distress inks for colouring the stamped images.

The Buddha name plate: 2 Step crackle + Resin technique

THE BUDDHA NAME PLATE: Hello crafty people! :D Devika here and today I will my favourite project till now..the 2step crackle name plate. This post will help you to get lovely cracks on your project. Prime it by applying 2 layers of Gesso. (allowing 15-20 min to dry between the 2 coats) Paint the base with white chalk/acrylic. Let it dry. Remove 2 layers of the napkin and use the top most layer. Tear the relevant Buddha and floral design with water and paint brush. Apply a thin layer of mod podge at the base and put the napkin on top.
